Airtable Script: Sort Linked Records Automatically

Use these automation scripts to automatically sort linked records according to a value in the linked table.

• One script triggers from the linked table (not the table with the field to sort). Use this one if the sort field value may change after the record is linked.
• One script triggers from the "parent" table containing the linked record field. Trigger this script very carefully to avoid having the automation re-trigger itself.

Note that these scripts only sort linked records when triggered by an automation. If you also need to sort existing linked records, use my Sort Linked Records Extension.
